A Heritage Woven in Every Thread

About Persian Farshé

Welcome to Persian Farshé, where every rug tells a story — a story of tradition, love, and generations of Persian artistry.

Our rugs are not just pieces of décor; they are woven memories, each knot carrying the spirit of the weaver who made it. We believe a Persian rug isn’t simply placed in a home — it becomes part of it.

Our misstion

To bring the timeless beauty of Persian craftsmanship into modern homes — connecting tradition with contemporary living. We’re committed to preserving handmade artistry, supporting local weavers, and celebrating the cultural soul behind every piece.

From Tehran to Victoria, BC

Now based in Victoria, British Columbia, I’m proud to share a part of my heritage with homes across Canada. My goal is to bring warmth, history, and authenticity into every space — one rug at a time.

Our Story

I grew up surrounded by Persian rugs — their colors, their stories, and their soul.
My father owned a Persian rug shop in one of Tehran’s most famous markets, the Grand Bazaar. As a child, one of my favorite moments was delivering lunch to him after school. It was my little adventure — walking through the hallways filled with the scent of wool and dye, admiring hundreds of handwoven masterpieces, each one with its own story.

While my father and other merchants discussed the history behind every rug, I would imagine myself as one of the weavers — tying each knot with patience and passion, trying to read the thoughts of those who created such beauty. His shop was a magical place spread across five colorful floors; every corner filled with vibrant handmade rugs.

Our Purpose

Over time, my curiosity turned into love, and that love became my purpose. I started learning more about rugs, their patterns, and their origins, until one day I found myself standing beside my father as a rug seller.

Life, however, took an unexpected turn — I lost my father, my greatest teacher. It was one of the hardest moments of my life, but I knew I couldn’t give up. I decided to continue his legacy, to walk the same path he once did with pride and love.

Today, I’m honored to share our heritage with the world. Bringing our rugs to Canada is more than a business for me — it’s a dream come true. Each rug carries a story, a memory, a piece of home. And if you ever want to know the story behind any of them, I’d be more than happy to share it with you.
